Workflow

From screenshot to maintainable code

Snap-to-Build is a first-draft accelerator. Here is how to get the best results.

Capture a clear screenshot

Full-page or above-the-fold shots work best. Avoid heavy blur, overlapping browser chrome, or tiny mobile crops of complex desktop layouts. If the design lives in Figma, export a PNG of the frame you care about first.

Upload and describe intent

Drop the image into Snap-to-Build (or attach it in chat on Pro). Optionally add a one-line goal — “marketing site for a B2B analytics tool” or “rebuild this dashboard in React + Tailwind.” Agents use vision to infer layout hierarchy, then write HTML/CSS or a Vite React scaffold.

Iterate in preview

Open live preview, click elements to refine, and ask Build mode for spacing, copy, or responsiveness fixes. Snap-to-Build is a first draft accelerator — treat the result like a strong starting commit, not a finished product.

Use cases

What people use it for

Recreate a competitor landing page structure you admire (then rewrite the copy).
Turn a designer’s static mock into a clickable HTML prototype the same day.
Bootstrap an internal tool UI from a screenshot of an existing admin panel.
Rebuild a legacy site section before migrating content into a modern stack.
Generate a mobile-first marketing page from a phone screenshot.
Produce a client pitch demo from a rough Figma export overnight.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Snap-to-Build available on Free?

Snap-to-Build requires Pro because it uses vision models and higher credit budgets. Free accounts can still build from text prompts and PromptMaster templates.

Will the output match the screenshot pixel-perfect?

Expect a close structural match — sections, hierarchy, and styling direction — not pixel-identical Figma fidelity. Refine colors, type, and interactions in follow-up prompts.

What frameworks does it generate?

Typically Vite + React + Tailwind or clean HTML/CSS depending on the task. You can ask Modurian to regenerate in Next.js or Astro after the first draft lands.

Snap-to-Build requires Pro

Image analysis uses vision AI models available on the Pro plan. Pro includes 2,000 credits per month for builds and chat.
