How to build a landing page with AI (step-by-step)

A practical workflow to generate a conversion-ready landing page with AI — hero, features, pricing, FAQ — then preview and deploy a public URL.

Start with the conversion story

Before prompting, write one sentence: who is this for, what they get, and the primary CTA. Example: “For indie founders who need a waitlist page — collect email, show 3 benefits, link to Twitter.” That sentence becomes the spine of your first prompt.

Pick Landing as the task type

In Modurian, choose Landing (or Website if you need more pages), set Build (or Plan if branding is still unclear), and paste a structured brief: headline, subcopy, feature bullets, pricing tiers, FAQ questions, brand colors, and “mobile-first.” Mention HTML-only vs Vite/React if you care about the stack.

First preview checklist

Open Preview and scan the first viewport: brand name visible, one headline, one CTA, no clutter. Check that pricing and FAQ exist below the fold. Click the CTA — it should scroll or open a real form, not a dead #. Fix issues with short Build messages: “make CTA sticky on mobile,” “replace lorem in pricing,” “increase contrast on secondary button.”

Deploy for feedback

When the page tells the story, deploy to a Spaces URL and share with three people. Collect copy and clarity notes, not design nitpicks. Iterate once more in chat, redeploy, then export to GitHub if you need a custom domain on your own host.

Common mistakes

Vague prompts (“make it sleek”), too many CTAs, and regenerating the whole page instead of editing one section. Also: shipping with placeholder emails and fake social proof — replace those before any paid traffic.
